About Us

about.jpgThe Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home and the Malburg Monument Service were both established in mid 1985. Mr. Malburg has been compassionately serving the Romeo/Tri-County area ever since. He proudly celebrated 25 years in business in June of 2010.

Since 1985, the funeral home has been expanded and updated to better serve families. Currently there are two large chapels. The primary chapel is part of the unique history of the building. The unique charm of this chapel is the original brick fireplace. The second chapel was added on to the existing dwelling in 1997. A natural wood vaulted ceiling makes this room rare and exclusive. The funeral home also contains a large lounge with an attached kitchen, a separate arrangement room, handicap accessible restrooms, and a beautiful 170-gallon saltwater aquarium in the sitting area.

In 2007, Henry’s son Mark began working at the Malburg Funeral Home. In 2011, Mark obtained his Bachelors Degree in Mortuary Science from Wayne State University; passed his National Board Exam; and acquired his license to practice mortuary science in the State of Michigan.

Together, Henry and Mark look forward to serving the needs of the community for years to come.
