Anna L. Murray

Anna L. Murray, age 72, a resident of northern Macomb County since 1989, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at her home. Anna was born August 28, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the daughter of Louis and Carmella (Ferraro) Carcione. She married Joseph Murray on June 27, 1964 in Somerdale, New Jersey. Anna was a long time member of St John & Paul Catholic Church where she helped out in many capacities. Anna enjoyed shopping, playing cards, dominos, golfing and bowling with her friends. Kissing and spoiling her grandchildren. Anna was also a very talented artist. Anna is survived by her husband Joseph, children: Jinnean Morris, Renee (Scott) Becker, and Tiffany (Todd) Lambert all of Washington Township and Shawn (Tiffany) Murray of Owasso, Oklahoma. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and her special cousin Jane Queeney. Anna was preceded in death by one brother Samuel Carcione. Funeral services will take place on July 22, 2017 at 10 AM at St. John & Paul Catholic Church (7777 28 Mile, Washington Township 48095). Visitation will take place on July 21, 2017 from 3-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo Michigan 48065) with a Scripture Service at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105).
