James Joseph Gabrielson was born March 25, 1941in Gladstone, Michigan. In this family he has one sister, Patricia 8 years younger. She is married to Lester Duncan for over 50 years.
James passed away at home on Oct. 9th, after being in the hospital on and off for a few years. He was a resident of Bruce Twp. for over 41 years. He is survived by his wife Linda of 50 years. He has a step daughter Amy married to Greg Collins in Clinton Twp. His son James George Gabrielson of Lenox Twp.
James worked at Utica Trim Plant in Utica for 30 years as a machine repair. Before this he worked at Whittaker Steel in Detroit. He then joined the Air Force in 1959-63, and later he joined the Air Force Reserves at Selfridge Air Base.
He provided an excellent quality of life for his family. James hobbies were carpentry, building a Gazebo without any plans which have no recalls with a beautiful deck around it.
He never stopped building and did 90% of the interior custom design his way. James also did his own black and white photography developing. He had very good friends that got him into Harley riding so they traveled mid and southern half of the states on vacations. He had so many abilities and qualities hard to pick one. With a sad heart we have to say goodbye to one of God’s best creations.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 4-8pm with a service starting at 7pm, this will take place at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, Mi.
