Brad Katchuba at age 65, deceased the morning of Friday, June 19, 2026. Brad was born to the late Robert and Delphine (Pszczolkowski) Katchuba of East Detroit, MI. Survived by siblings Robert (Laurie) Katchuba, Colleen (Tom) Jeans, and Anne Demsky and his children Julie (Joshua) Cross, Stephanie (Chuck) Killgo, and Michael (Tammi) Katchuba. Surviving grandchildren included Claude, Imogene, Bryce, Rocco, Audrienna, Jordan, and Michael Jr.

Brad was an East Detroit High School graduate and served a lifelong, fulfilling career with Sheet Metal Workers Local 292 of Detroit in which he retired. Brad was a hard-working tradesman, and what time he spent outside of his work was spent outdoors (camping, fishing, boating and BBQing), playing cards, enjoying live music, and being with family and friends. Brad was very sociable and always made friends along the way in his many travels throughout the country while working on the road or for leisure. His love was unconditional to his children and his grandchildren were the light of his life.
