Charles "Chuck" Anglewicz

Charles “Chuck” Anglewicz, age 83, a resident of Washington Township since 1974, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at home. Chuck was born November 3, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Florian and Louise (Michels) Anglewicz. In 1961, he graduated from South Lake High School in Saint Clair Shores. On May 11, 1963, Chuck married Sally Balcer at St Peter’s Church in Harper Woods. Chuck worked at the GM Tech Center from 1961 until he retired in 2005. Chuck was an Eagle Scout, he enjoyed building and remodeling houses, woodworking, travelling and being a part of the St. Clement Parish Council and Parish Financial Committee. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and president of his neighborhood association.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Sally, of Washington Township, children, Lynda (Jerome Schroeder) of Bruce Township, Janice (Tim) Cahill of Rochester, Jamie Anglewicz of Indian River, Michigan, and Carrie Anglewicz of Dewitt, siblings, Barbara (Joseph) Orlando of California, Clifford (Nancy) Anglewicz of Florida, David (Helen) Anglewicz of Florida, and Kalvin (Tina) Anglewicz of Florida, and grandchildren, Emily Schroeder, Mary Schroeder, Erik Schroeder, Jean (Mitch) Boyer, Andrew Cahill, Audrey Cahill, and great-grandchildren, Charles Boyer, and Baby Girl Boyer.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 3, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, with funeral services to be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, 10:00 AM at St Clement Catholic Church.
