Christa Renate Fritz, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025. She was 80 years old.

Born on February 20, 1945 in Nuremburg, Germany, Christa was the cherished daughter of Alois and Frieda Wolf. In 1964, she bravely left her homeland and moved to Romeo, Michigan, where she began a new chapter in life and married Jeffrey H. Fritz. Together, they raised three children: Eric, Brigitte, and Tobin.

In 1990, Christa moved to Nevada, where she built a new life with her characteristic independence and spirit of adventure. She worked for many years as a gift shop manager in the airport, where she welcomed customers from around the world with warmth and multilingual charm. Her openness, resilience, and vibrant personality touched many lives.

Christa was preceded in death by her son Tobin Fritz and grandson Curtis Ostrander, whom she loved deeply and remembered always.

She is survived by her children Eric (Jeanne) Fritz, Brigitte Baldwin and daughter in-law Tammy Fritz, her grandchildren- Eric (Tiffany) Fritz, Christopher (Elizabeth) Baldwin, Tyler Baldwin, and Tobin (Samantha) Fritz- and her great grandchildren, Madison, Liam, Ryder, Damien, and Lily. Her legacy of resilience and warmth lives through them.

Christa will be remembered for her adventurous heart, strong will, and deep love for family and friends. Her journey was filled with courage, connection, and an unwavering sense of independence.
