Clark Oliver Putman, October 26, 1929 - August 11, 2026, aged 96, beloved husband of Faith for 66 years, who preceded him into glory February 13, 2020, dearest Father of: Bruce, Ross and Alesa (Tony) Kopp, cherished Grandfather of: Eric Putman, Nathaniel Putman and Granddaughter-in-Law Eve, Great-Grandfather of June and Clark, Brice Putman, Jonathan Putman and Granddaughter-in-Law Mallory and Great-Grandson Benjamin, Paul Putman and Granddaughter-in-Law Samantha, Great-Grandchildren Mitchell and Ethan, Meghan and Grandson-in-law (Eric) Bosco, and Great-Grandchildren William and Calleigh, Lindsey and Grandson-in-law (Dave) Walters, and Great-Grandchildren, Nicholas, Kaitlynn, and Isabella, Briton Maciuk and Granddaughter-in-Law Jacque.
Clark was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed traveling to remote regions of Canada for fishing trips. Clark also enjoyed small and large game hunting, all in the company of his sons, Grandsons, and beloved friends. Clark served in the Army during the Korean War as an Aviation Mechanic. Stateside, he continued his passion in Aviation, completing numerous Trans-Atlantic flights alongside John Brown. In recognition of Clark's contributions to the Aviation Industry, he was honored with the Elder Statesman Award in Washington D.C. Clark and John Brown hold 15 World Records for speed and distance in a twin engine plane. Clark also received The Charles Taylor Award (in memory of Mr. Taylor being the Wright Brother's first mechanic), this Award is given to Aviation Mechanics that have been licensed Aviation Mechanics for 50 plus years. Clark's final Award was the Lifetime Aviation Mechanic Award. He was licensed for over 70 plus years. The (NAA) made this Award exclusively for Clark, as no one else had achieved such an accomplishment. Clark held a deep love and faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He made it his main goal to live as a faithful and true servant to his Risen Lord. Matthew 25:21 “Well done, good and faithful servant."
