Donald E. & Sharon M Knust , residents of Dryden since 1982 and previously from Romeo. Donald passed away at Orchard Grove Nursing Center on June 6, 2021 and Sharon passed away on May 3, 2021 at their winter home in Texas. Donald was born July 22, 1933 in Romeo, MI., the son of Walter and Ethel (Sutton) Knust. Sharon was born March 9, 1942 in Davis, Michigan the daughter of Roy & Dorothy (Eisenhardt) Bettcher. Donald worked for the Washington Elevator Company for 20yrs. After working at the Elevator he worked at his brothers Dairy Farm for many years. He delivered flowers for the Cinnamon Stick flower shop in Almont which was owned by Sharon for many years. Donald enjoyed fixing things, gardening, and farming. Sharon loved to sew and decorate cakes, Donald & Sharon are survived by their children: Larry (Sharon) Knust of Richmond & Sheryl (Roger) Smith of Capac. Grandchildren include Lee Patterson, Nicholas (Sarah) Knust, Allen (Carly) Patterson, Steven (Samantha Derby) Patterson, Crystal (Daniel) Langholff, Breana Knust, Rebecca (Chase Orzel) Johnson and Ryan Johnson. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren. Siblings; Eleanor Mehl, Virginia (Walter) Bublitc, Lester (Barbara) Knust, and Walter Jr., Lois Ann Burke, and Richard (Janet) Knust. He was preceded in death by his brother Russell. Visitation for Donald & Sharon will take place Friday June 11, 2021 from 3-8pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. A private ceremony will take place at a later date at the Davis Cemetery.
