Frank P. Prainito, age 71, a Romeo resident for over 40 years, passed away suddenly & peacefully in Rochester, MI on May 15th, 2024. He was born on August 16th, 1952, in Detroit, son of Frank and Rosemary (Carta) Prainito.
Born with a heart of gold, Frank's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his family and his community. For over 43 years, he stood as a devoted husband to Machelle (Shovan), his beloved wife, sharing a bond that inspired all who knew them. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
As a father, Frank poured his heart and soul into raising his two sons, Frank, and Luigi, instilling in them values of integrity, compassion, and hard work. He was their rock, role model, and their best friend.
In every role he undertook, whether constructing homes, teaching his expertise in the Building Trade at Romeo High School, or serving diligently at the Washington Township Building Department for over 10 years, Frank dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his work, leaving a lasting impression on those around him.
Frank found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed playing cards with friends, coaching his boys on the baseball field, playing golf, his daily visits with his sister, Germaine, and doting on his beloved poodle, Gidget, who was more than just a pet but a valued member of the family.
His true passion was his family and his beautiful granddaughters. He loved having an ice cream cone after a softball game or taking them shopping. It meant the world to him as their Papa.
