Jane B. Miller

Jane Barbara Miller, age 72 passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5 at Pomeroy Nursing Home in Rochester Hills. She was a resident of CenterLine. She was born in Detroit on September 26, 1953, the daughter of Franklin and Hyacinth (Probstfelt) Miller.

She graduated from St Clement Catholic School. She first worked at Drapery Care and became lifelong friends with the Bernie Family. Then she worked many years at St Louise Catholic Church as the Pastor’s housekeeper and cook. She organized lots of craft shows, fish dinners, Polish dinners and funeral lunches with her friends at St Louise. Jane even worked part-time at the Capuchin Retreat in the kitchen.

Her passion was making others happy through her cooking and making jam. Jane enjoyed playing cards, taking vacations up north and going on cruises with family and friends. She would take rides to Metro Beach with her dog, a book and a cup of coffee to watch the freighters go down the River.

Jane is survived by her siblings, Thomas (June), Sue (Tom) Welles, Patrick (Rose), John (Patricia),

Mike (Beth), 14 nieces and nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew. She was preceded in death by her Parents, sister, Kathleen and nephew Scott Miller.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Memory Share, held at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 10 AM at St Louise de Marillac Catholic Church (2500 12 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48092).
