Joan Jenuwine, age 56, a lifelong Macomb County resident, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Joan was born September 2, 1964 in Mt Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of Herbert and Cecilia (Allemon) Marcath. She married Jim Jenuwine on November 9, 1991 at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo Michigan. For 10 years, she worked at Selfridge Air Force Base in the clerical department. Joan devoted her whole life to her family and continuing the family farms of the Marcaths and Jenuwines. She spent every Saturday at the Oakland County Farmer’s Market selling vegetables, flowers and wreaths. Joan loved growing beautiful flowers, painting crafts and decorating wreaths, to sell at the market. Nothing brought Joan more joy than her nieces and nephews and she especially enjoyed watching them show at the Armada Fair. Joan will be deeply missed by all for her good humor and unconditional love for her family. She also enjoyed going to tractor shows and many Fairs in the area. Joan is survived by her husband Jim of Armada Twp., and her siblings: Herbert (Annette) of Casco, James (Connie) of St. Clair, Dennis of Chesterfield, Thomas (Cindy) of Washington Township, Joyce (John) Sexton of Ray Township, June (Dave) Ameloot of Ray Township, Richard (Cheryl) of Roseville, Judy (Randy) Hale of Washington Township, Larry of Shelby, Jean (Fred) Werth of Orion, Steven (Lynn) of Richmond, Alton (Donna) of Armada and Ann (Michael) Walsh of Berlin; numerous nieces & nephews. Also survived by her father-in-law Dale Jenuwine and sister-in-law JoEllen (John) Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert & Cecilia, sister-in-laws Marie & Laura Marcath, Mary Jenuwine, nephew Tyler, and mother-in-law Thomasine Jenuwine. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church (343 S. Main, Romeo Michigan 48065) with burial to follow at the West Berlin Cemetery, buried alongside of her parents. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 6-8 and on Wednesday from 2-8 with a 7 PM rosary by the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
