Joann M. Delater

Joann M. DeLater, age 81, a lifelong resident of Romeo/Washington Twp. passed away on September 14, 2014 peacefully at her home. Joann was born on August 24, 1933 the daughter of Harold and Edna (Striber) Eastwood. She loved music, playing the piano, singing in the choir, and dancing. She was also a caretaker for several people in the area. Joann was very devoted to the church Romeo United Methodist. Joann is survived by her loving husband Larry of Washington Twp. and her son David (James) of Austin, Texas. A memorial service will be held on Thursday September 18, 2014 at 5:30 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Dr. Gary R. Glanville officiating. Visitation will be from 3-7. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Donations can be made out to Alzheimers Association.
