Kevin G. Kerr

Kevin G. Kerr, age 67, a resident of Ray Township since 1995, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Henry Ford Rochester Hospital after battling cancer. Kevin was born July 5, 1958 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of George B. Kerr and Margaret (Usery) Kerr. 

Kevin graduated from Clarkston High School in 1976. On April 5, 1981, he married Debbie Oleskie at the Utica Evangelistic Center. Kevin and Debbie met while working for Kroger. He was a welder, then finished his career at the post office, retiring in 2020. The high light of Kevin’s life was his family. He coached his children’s baseball and lacrosse teams and was always in the front row of the grandchildren’s games. His second passion was sharing his love of the outdoors with numerous camping and hunting trips, spending time on the water fishing and boating with family and friends. Certain trips have a special place in his heart; the annual hunting trips to the UP, the Mackinac Bridge walk, Halloween camping and Disneyland were a few.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Debbie, of Ray Township, sons, John (Kim) Kerr of Oxford, and Jeremy (Jessica) Kerr of Rochester, sister, Beverly (Louis) Dusa, grandchildren, Everett, Vincent, Vivian, Eva, Finnegan, and Maxwell, as well as loving sister and brother inlaws with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 1-8 pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 10 am, also at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
