Leslie D. Ghesquiere

Leslie D. Ghesquiere, age 72, a resident of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. Leslie was born June 22, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, to Robert and Margaret (Fraunhoffer) Quinlan. Leslie grew up in Roseville, Michigan, and graduated St Clement High School in 1972. On June 28, 1974 she married her “HON”, Daniel David Ghesquiere, also of Roseville. Leslie worked for Michael’s Arts & Crafts for 26 years, spending 18 of those years as the custom framing manager. In retirement she enjoyed lunch or dinner dates with her children, planning get-togethers, reading, and reminiscing with her cousin Cheryl and their childhood friends, known as “The LaSalle Girls”. Leslie also especially loved spending time with her grandkids, and relaxing on the deck of her new home by the lake.

Leslie is survived by her children, David (Erica) Ghesquiere of Wolverine Lake, and Tracy Ghesquiere (Steve Bussard) of Warren , sister Pam (Ken) Michie of Washington Township, and her beloved grandchildren William V and Corbin. Leslie is preceded in death by her loving husband Daniel, brother Michael, and her parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with the funeral service at 5:00 PM with Pastor Mike Phillips officiating.
