Linda Lou Toothacker, age 75, passed away on January 14, 2022 At St. Jopeph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, MI. Linda was born on July 10, 1946, in Goshen, Indiana, daughter of Walton and Gladys (Madsen) O’Baker. Linda married her love Roger, on May 25, 1969, in Keego Harbor, MI. Linda has been a resident of Orion Twp. for 53 years, the length of their marriage. Linda was a very caring and giving person, she was a loyal and thoughtful friend. Linda was always cooking, baking, or crafting something fun. Gardening was a passion and she loved photographing the flowers that she grew and those of her friends, often making note cards to share with others. Linda was involved with both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years while her children were growing up, volunteering her time and endless energy to troops and the girls. She was a member of the G.F.W.C. (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) for 8+ years and a member of the Oakland Woods Baptist Church. Linda loved collecting stamps, most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. Linda is survived by her loving husband Roger, her children, William Roger Toothacker of Ohio, Kristina Lyn (David) Auer of Lapeer, Gina Ann (Aaron) Marchek of Maryland, Siblings, David Russell Baker of Indiana, Vicki Talent of Texas, and Regina (John) Torosian of Hawaii. Grandchildren, Anthony W. Burns, Samantha S. Cummins, Chance Toothacker, Miracle Toothacker, Michelle (Andrew) Smoot, Charlotte Marchek, and Sydney Marchek, Mercedes Cruz, Ciera Cruz, Demetrius Thomas, Raishad King, Adrian King as well as her great grandchildren Scott Smoot, Qwami Hammond and many additional blessings who knew her as Great Grandma. . Funeral Services will take place at the Oakland Woods Baptist Church (5628 Maybee Rd. Village of Clarkston 48346) Friday, January 28, 2022, from 10am-Noon. Burial will take place on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oakland Woods Baptist Church or www.MI-DAV.org Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.
