Lois A. Morris

Lois A. Morris, age 87, a 59 year resident of Leonard, Michigan passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility in Lapeer. Lois was born November 17, 1938 in Utica, Michigan, the daughter of Glen and Helen (Beard) Bechtel. She graduated from Utica High School. Lois married Carl Morris on April 26, 1958 in Utica, Michigan. Lois enjoyed raising her boys, being outside, gardening, flowers, collecting birds, and going to church.

Lois is survived by her sons Carl (Caroline) Morris of Dryden, David (Susan) of Leonard, brother-in-law Don Morris, grandchildren Brent (Stephanie) Morris, Brian (Nichole) Morris, Jamie (Jason) Vassel, Shana (Andrew Kasper), great-grandchildren Benjamin, Mitchell, Annabelle, Emily, Lottie, Nathan, and Morgan.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00PM with Pastor Mike officiating, with all services to be held at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
