Michael Watters

Michael J. Watters, age 66, a resident of Utica, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Corewell Health Troy Beaumont Hospital. Michael was born May 31, 1960 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of Glenn and Kathleen (Noel) Watters. Michael grew up in Roscommon, Michigan. He then joined the Seabees as an Equipment Operator in the United States Navy. Throughout his life Michael held many different jobs, including owning a woodworking and door company. Michael served as camp counselor for children navigating neurological trauma and recovery. Michael enjoyed watching NASCAR and loved Mark Martin. He was also very funny, and loved being around people.

Michael is survived by his siblings, Ken (Norma) Watters of Roscommon, Valerie Watters of Roscommon, Robert (Suzy) of Massachusetts, and Yvonne Young of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.
