Michelle D. Krause

Michelle D. Krause, age 56, a lifelong Michigan resident, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital of Macomb. Michelle was born November 1, 1969, the daughter of Charles F. and Annette M. (LaLonde) Thayer. Michelle was a 1988 Utica High School graduate. Michelle spent her working years employed in the manufacturing industry. She enjoyed kayaking, hiking, and fishing. She also loved arts and crafts; especially rock painting. Michelle also loved spending time with her nieces, nephews and grandkids.

Michelle is survived by her mother, Annette Thayer of Hazel Park, her son, Kevin (Megan) Krause of Washington, brother Charles Thayer of Washington Township, 3 grandchildren, Gavin, Waylon, and Gracelyn, her niece Renee Thayer, and nephew, CJ (Staci) Thayer.
