Noreen G. Barnum

Noreen G. Barnum, age 80, a lifelong resident of the Leonard/Romeo area, passed away at her home on Monday, March 13, 2017. Noreen was born December 4, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Esther (Kage) Wethy. She married LeeRoy Barnum on December 22, 1956 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washington Township. Noreen spent a few years working at the Mt Clemens Pottery, but most of her life taking care of her husband/kids/ and grandkids. Her hobbies included quilting and canning. Noreen is survived by her husband LeeRoy, children: Tim (Cindy) Barnum of Washington Township, Gail (Patty) Barnum of Seattle Washington, LeeRoy (Tammy) Barnum of Emmett, MI., and Tracy (John) Stokes of Leonard. Also survived by 5 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Noreen was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Don, Carl, Robert, and Dorothy Wethy. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 16 at 11 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Washington Township with Pastor Jeffrey Draeger officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
