Philip Garnecki Jr., age 79, a resident of Bruce Township for 41 years, passed away March 18, 2026 at home. Philip was born September 15, 1946, the son of Philip Sr. and Olga (Cucura) Garnecki. Philip was a 1965 graduate of Scott High School in Pennsylvania. He then attended Johnson School of Technology, graduating in 1968. Philip served in the Army, then served in the National Guard from 1973-1975.
Philip is survived by his wife, Theresa Adgate, of Bruce Township, sons, Philip (Jen) Garnecki, and Alexander Garnecki, step-son Jeremiah Siuda, step-daughters, Marhetta Leonard, Laura Hubbard, and Melissa Southwell, brothers, Stephen (Carol) Garnecki, and David Garnecki, and sister Beverly (Steve) Hodgkins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, 12:00 PM, at Woodside Bible Church (7800 32 Mile Road, Washington, Michigan) with a meal to follow. Philip’s cremated remains will be buried at a later date.
