Renee Marsh

Renee Marsh, age 77, a resident of Armada, Michigan since 1978, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 at home. Renee was born July 3, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Louis and Jane (Czajka) Buczynski. Renee was a 1966 high school graduate. She married Michael Marsh on September 29, 1967 at St. Stanislaus in Detroit.

She was a woman of deep intellect and quiet curiosity, well read across a wide range of subjects, including history, religion, and science. Her love of learning was matched only by her kindness—she had a generous spirit and a tender heart, especially for animals and children in need. She gave selflessly to numerous charities, supporting animal welfare and foster children around the world.

She embraced life fully, finding joy in both the extraordinary and the everyday. She lived with intention and gratitude, always striving to make the most of the time she was given.

Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She loved her children fiercely and unconditionally, always holding them close to her heart. She shared a rare and beautiful love with her husband—one that was deep, enduring, and full of devotion. Their bond was unmistakable, a source of strength and happiness throughout her life.

Renee is survived by her husband, Michael of Armada, children, Robert (Janet) Marsh, of Colorado, John (Dawn) Marsh, of Avoca, Michelle (Cris) Patyi, of South Carolina, Sandy (Greg) Marsh, of Chesterfield, Kim (George) Marsh, of Bloomfield Hills, and Brigette (Henry) McKinnon, of Auburn, Indiana, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, as well as her loving sister Jane, sisters Evelyn, Karen, and Brother Frank. Renee is preceded in death by grandchildren, Michael Marsh and Jacob Marsh.
