Richard Martin Falker, lifelong Washington Township resident, beloved husband, dad and Papa, passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on September 15, 2026 at home. Born April 30th, 1952 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, Richard grew up on the Centennial Farm where he now lives. Richard married Dianne on September 18, 1976. He lived a life marked by love, hard work, and devotion to his family.
He started his career of Semi-Gravel Train Driver at Natural Aggregates, and then moved to Par Aggregate as a Cement Bulker Driver, also working at Sterling Concrete. He enjoyed farming and raising Hereford Cattle, as well as hobbies such as making venison sausage, enjoying time at their cottage on Jose Lake in Hale, Michigan. He loved having fun with his family, grandkids, and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne, with whom he was married 50 years. He leaves his daughters, Michelle (Jeff), and Lauren (Ken), and his beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Jillian, Kyle, Dylan, and Bradley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Betty, and his sister Diane.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 20, 2026 from 1:00PM – 8:00PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, 11:00AM, at St John Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Romeo Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
