Theresa Marie Manning

Theresa (Terry) Marie Manning, age 97, a resident of Almont, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 . Terrie would have been 98 on December 5th. Terry was born December 5, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Simon and Bertha (Wozniak) Sante. Though originally from Cleveland, she moved to Michigan to be near her sister Rita. She then met Douglas E. Manning, whom she married September 20, 1946. Terry worked as a school photographer for 20 years. She enjoyed her job immensely, and loved working with the children. In her free time, she enjoyed skiing, and boating. She took up painting later in life and discovered she had a new talent. Also, she enjoyed her martinis. She married long time friend Charles Lomasney in 1995. While she had many passions, nothing brought her more happiness and joy than being with her grandchildren and great grand children. They were truly the light of her life. Her family describes her as the kindest, most considerate soul anyone had the privilege of knowing. She always put others before herself.

Theresa (Terrie) is survived by her daughters, Gail Millis-Antonich and Lindi (Bob) Passarell, grandchildren, Ryan (Kristi) Mills of West Branch, Nathan (Jodi) Mills of Gladwin, Justin Mills (Crystal) Robotnik of Bruce Township, Aaron (Hana) Passarell of Attica, and Alexandra (Patrick) Bombard of Imlay City, as well as great-grandchildren, Kylie, Tristan, Rylie, Jazzlynn, Ariella, Melody, Adalynn, Ayden, Ashton, JJ, Teagan, Shantel, Adriana, Gabriella, Hudson, and Luke. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas E. Manning in 1987 and Charles Lomasney in 2000.

Visitation will be held Monday January 5, 2026 from 4:00PM – 8:00PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2026 10:00AM at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude.
