Walter George Deaner

Walter George Deaner died on September 2, 2025. Walter was born on November 25, 1951 to Harvey and Lilly Deaner. He graduated from Romeo High School in 1970. Wally, as most of his friends called him, served in the US Army. After his service, he worked at a plastic manufacturer that supplied the auto industry and helped on the family farm. Farming was his passion and he farmed until his death. He was a member of the Michigan Humane Society and the Nature Conservatory. Walt was an avid sports fan of the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Pistons, and could cite stats of all the teams back to the 1960s. Preceding his death was his son, Jesse and his parents. Surviving family is his sister, Angelika Payne, nephew William Payne, and grandnephew, Maksym Payne.
