Wilma Jean "Jean" Ryall

Wilma Jean Ryall “Jean,” age 88, a longtime resident of Richmond, Michigan, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Jean was born September 26, 1936, the daughter of James and Louise (Long) Chaffin. Jean was a Ford Retiree, working many years on the assembly line. Jean was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved animals, especially her cats. She also loved gardening. Jean always enjoyed Sunday Dinner with John, and spending time with family and friends.
Jean is survived by her step-children, Sharon (Chris) Shinska, Donna (Mike) Poppe, Mary (Blake) Dorris, and, Michael (Tammy) Ryall, step-grandchildren, Ryan (Alicia) Shinska, Derek (Danielle) Shinska, and Meghan Shinska, Kaitlyn (Ryan) Finley, Austen Thomas, Melissa (Michael) DiFalco, Erin (Kevin) Santo, Kelsey Dorris, and Abigail (Detto) Bongiorno, step-great grandchildren, Jamil, Grace, Mac, Jordon, Hudson, Everly, Adalyn, Josephine, Lainey, Benny, Vincenzo, and Isabella. Jean is preceded in death by her mother Lois H. (Long) Chaffin, father, James C. Chaffin, husband, John Ryall, daughter, Phyliss Ann (Dallas) Parker, step-son Dan Ryall, and grandson Jesse Deaner.
Visitation will be held Friday July 18, 2025 from 11:00AM – 1:30PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday July 18, 2025 at 1:30PM also at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
